DMVerify respects your privacy and is committed to transparency about what data we do β and more importantly, do not β collect.
DMVerify does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not analyze names, addresses, birthdates, or government-issued ID numbers tied to individuals. Our verification system focuses exclusively on non-personal elements present on public-facing identification documents, such as the Document Discriminator (DD) code.
Because we operate without PII:
We only process the DD field (a code often found at the bottom of certain government-issued IDs) to help determine the issuing office. This value alone cannot be traced back to a specific person. All verification results are based solely on this technical code and are not linked to identity records or personal databases.
We may use limited, anonymized session cookies to improve performance and detect usage patterns. These cookies do not track behavior across websites and are not tied to user identities. We may log general usage data (e.g., lookup timestamps, success/failure flags) for billing, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
We do not share your usage data with advertisers or third-party marketing platforms. If you use our platform through an API integration or third-party tool, please review their privacy policies as well.
Even though we do not handle PII, we still use HTTPS encryption, tokenized session controls, and access restrictions to ensure that all user interactions with our platform are secure.
